Pågen benefits from value-creating functions in its intranet

When Pågen was in need of a new intranet the choice fell on Tahoe’s turnkey product BaseDrum. With the ambition to take their digital workplace to a new level, an update to a modern intranet was required and they have been up and running for a year now.

Pågen – for future generations

As early as 1878 the foundation was laid for what is today Pågen and today they are Sweden’s leading bakery in everything from packaged fresh bread to crusts. With keywords such as commitment and responsibility Pågen is an organization that focuses on opportunities and creating products of high quality. Currently they have bakeries in Malmö and Gothenburg and employ approximately 1,500 people.

Added value with BaseDrum

Pågen experienced limitations in its old intranet, which resulted in cumbersome processes and high costs. They were looking for a ready-made standard solution and when they started looking for a new digital intranet they found BaseDrum from Tahoe, a turnkey product that seemed to be a perfect match for Pågen and their business:

One reason why Pågen chose to invest in a new intranet was to be able to reach out to everyone within the organization and strengthen the company culture: “Internal communication is very important to contribute to cohesion, convey our core values ​​and by extension, to motivate everyone to work towards the same hold. The intranet is the main channel for reaching out to all employees, not least as many bakery employees have an active job in the bakery and cannot be reached via email. But also an important source where you find guidelines and policies that apply to our work and our processes.”

Smooth implementation and uncomplicated support

The process of getting started with BaseDrum went smoothly: “From Tahoe we received clear and competent project management. Throughout the implementation we had an open dialogue.”

When asked how Pågen feels about the support function, Berith replies: “The support is fast and uncomplicated. We know we will get help when needed.”
