➕ NEW FEATURES

  • Create records from controlled templates in your SharePoint library
    • Users can now create documents using templates from InSight Perform directly from SharePoint document libraries. This is made possible by the new list command extension Add record that administrators can deploy.
  • Review documents in the draft stage
    • You can now switch to reviewing documents in the draft stage of a workspace instead of the approval stage. Review comments will be saved with the document just as if you were reviewing in the approval stage.
  • Create news from a process using dedicated button
    • Administrators can now create news post from our button webpart. Clicking the Create news button starts SharePoint’s built in news creation function.
  • Edit process page using dedicated button
    • Administrators can now edit the process page using a button in our button webpart. The Edit page button starts SharePoint’s built in edit page function.
  • Our management system
    • InSight Perform now comes with a new page dedicated to showing content from InSight Perform that is relevant to a group of users, for example a department or Team members. What is relevant is determined using Security groups and group targeting in SharePoint.
  • Save process charts to the controlled documents library
    • It is now possible for authors to create process charts and save them to the controlled documents library instead of saving them as a process chart to the current process.

⬆ IMPROVEMENTS

  • Application administrators and system administrators as groups in settings
    • Administrators can now use security groups to assign application and system administrators.
  • Document templates managed by system administrators as option
    • For each instance you can set that document templates are managed by system administrators and not application administrators.
  • Full screen view for Visio and Tahoe drawing tool
    • Hovering over a process chart now presents a full screen button. Clicking this button will show the process charts in full screen view. Applies to process charts from Visio and Tahoe drawing tool.
  • Save custom process templates to dedicated container
    • Customer installations should include a dedicated container for custom process templates so that we do not need to save templates each time we update the customer.
  • Microsoft 365s watermark function
    • You can now implement Microsoft 365 watermarks in Word documents.
  • Hide the Upload document function
    • A setting in Tahoe Administration now allows administrators to hide the Upload document function in workspaces, Add document and Formal changes.
  • Multiple content types
    • You can have different properties for different document types in the controlled documents content type.

⚒ FIXED

  • Documents published to this process webpart now respects the views defined in the instance settings.
  • Visitors group in Instance settings should never be allowed to be empty. If custom permissions are required this should be marked in checkbox and managed separately.
  • Remove the word “barn” from process overviews.
  • Renaming documents in workspaces using Properties or Change name in the context menu.
  • Status and context menu consistently updated after document is approved.
  • Edit process settings in administration no longer reloads the process tree if properties took too long to read.
  • Improved performance for fetching large numbers of documents in Controlled documents library.
